What Is iFit?

With ever increasing busy lifestyles it is often difficult to fit in some of the things that we would like to. We can help you fit in a whole body workout session in just 10 minutes.

iFit is the latest craze in vibration training and just 10 minutes of use can have the same effect as one hours resistance training. The motion of the i.Fit machine makes the muscles contract and relax up to 50 times a second, giving the body a high speed workout without you even having to set foot in the gym. No special gym wear is needed and there’s no need to get hot and bothered.

How It Works

All iFit machines have two motors. One that powers the oscillation motion and one for the vibration motion. Oscillation, which is the up and down motion, will give the body a resistance work out. The body will try to correct itself, fighting against the motion, so as one limb moves up, the other limb moves down allowing the bodies' natural shock absorbing system to operate. The forces are dissipated by the pelvic girdle, thorax and lumbar spine.

Exercising the muscles causes them to tire, and resting allows them to recover. By doing regular exercise this strengthens the muscles and increases physical performance.

Vibration exercise works in the same way but intensifies the effects, therefore achieving greater results in a short space of time. The vibration motion sends small vibrations through the body.

This stimulates the bones, muscles, blood vessels and cells, working your muscles from the inside out, which promotes rapid development and circulation. These vibrations cause the muscles to contract and relax anything between 3 and 50 times per second. Which means just 10 minutes of vibration training is the equivalent of 60 minutes resistance training. iFit is the only machine that offers two different movement motions, giving you better results!

Every i.Fit machine has 3 pre-set workout programmes, designed to suit all fitness levels.

P1 Beginner Programme

Advised for beginners and users that haven't exercised for a long time, users with minor health problems and senior users.

P2 General Workout

This programme will give the user a general all round workout, it is designed for moderately fit users and gives best results for inch loss.

P3 Advanced Programme

This programme is advised for advanced users only, it works on body enhancement and muscle toning. There is also Manual setting, where the user can adjust the machine to suit their personal work out preference. Once you are a competent i.Fit user you may wish to try some different exercise positions. However we recommend the 'overall conditioning' position for the best all round results.
